Henry's Birthday Celebrations 1 & 2

Henry will be having 3 birthday cakes total. He's completely spoiled, I know! The first was from Luke's work going away party on his actual birthday, the second is from a cake I got for free from a local grocery store (they give cakes to babies on their 1st birthdays!) and we celebrated at home, and the third will be at our Anderson family going away party the day before we leave town for Boston. Whew! That's a lot of sugar, for mom, dad, and baby!

Here he is, not so sure about the cake at the St. Olaf party. Dad suggested that Henry just didn't like chocolate.

Here he is again, this time, we know... Henry adores chocolate cake! He ate his entire slice, absolutely cramming it in his mouth as fast as he could! So cute and funny.

In non-cake related news, Granny is visiting from Colorado! Henry loved reading books with her this afternoon. He also gave her a huge kiss on the lips! Obviously, he loves his Granny!

I said I'd never do this...

...Mainly because I thought that it was a bit self-indulgent. As in, who cares about my thoughts, feelings, desires, hopes & dreams? And that's why this blog won't be about me! It will be about Henry, his adventures, and what our family life is like in Boston. Because EVERYONE we know and love is somewhere other than Boston, you need to know what's going on in our lives, and this seems like the way to do it in 2008.

So, here goes... Read it or don't, you won't hurt my feelings, but if you care, everything you wanted to know and more is out there in cyberspace!

Signing off from my very first blog,

Kelly, aka Henry's Mama.
